Louviers has two weekly markets: the tiny Wednesday and much more important on Saturday (140 merchants, 160 in summer). But the local institution is the traditional fair of Saint-Michel, whose origin dates back to 1806. On September 29, this cattle and taillandiers fair marked the end of large agricultural works. Today, it is dedicated to trade and good business, the most important of the department, takes place for three days, gathers 650 exhibitors spread over 5 km and moves 80 000 consumers or/and curious.
