ASSOCIATION MONTFORT CULTURE AND HERITAGE

Created in 1998, the AMCP association aims to preserve and enhance the medieval sites of Montfort and its surroundings, as well as the organization of cultural events such as the Rock Mon Fort festival in May. In particular, it offers a guided tour of the medieval castle of Montfort, one of the first stone castles in Normandy. Located on nearly 5 ha of land and overlooking the valley, this castle, listed as a Historic Monument, can be visited all year round with free access or by a guided tour lasting a good hour. Military techniques, tower remnants, curtains, dungeons, low courtyards, and ditches will no longer hold any secrets for you and your children, with also a panoramic view of the Risle valley.
