BELLE-ISLE SUR RISLE
Restaurant in the heart of a superb green setting in a timeless location in Pont-Audemer.
In the heart of a superb green setting surrounded by the Risle, this 19th-century Norman manor house stands in a timeless setting. Two beautifully decorated lounges allow you to comfortably open the evening with an aperitif. We sit down to eat: the seasonal cuisine developed by its young chef Armand Malandain, who worked at the Crillon, is a subtle blend of flavours, enhanced by a touch of spice and originality. Since 2008, the master chef has been passionately working behind the stoves of this gourmet restaurant, which in 2017 obtained the remarkable Table label presided over by Alain Ducasse. A gourmet advice for lovers: the plate of fresh and aged Norman cheeses, particularly generous and appreciated.
For the anecdote, an episode of the series Chez Maupassant, broadcast between 2007 and 2011 on France 2, was shot in this jewel nestled on an island of Risle.
