This legendary venue, which has seen many a star pass through its doors, remains a sure bet in the area, with its excellent bistronomic cuisine.

Closed for 20 years, the Auberge du Vieux Puits reopened its doors in Pont-Audemer in 2022. It’s a veritable renaissance for this legendary venue, which has played host to such greats as Claude François and Clark Gable. The former hotel-restaurant, now owned by Juan Carmena-Martin, has rediscovered its former charm and offers bistronomic-style French and Mediterranean cuisine. On the menu: duck breast marinated in calvados, pan-fried scallops, to be enjoyed by the fireplace or in the pleasant garden, near Madame Bovary’s famous well.

Expérience fantastique. Nous étions avec notre chien. Nous avons pu nous asseoir à l'extérieur dans le magnifique jardin. La nourriture était immensément délicieuse. Et le service était impeccable. Sincèrement recommandé. PS : si vous vous asseyez à l'extérieur, allez jeter un coup d'œil à l'intérieur (à l'étage). L'intérieur est immensément beau.

Nous venons de revenir de notre location devant ce restaurant, il est incroyable. La nourriture était absolument fabuleuse, le vin est incroyable et le service est excellent. A recommander vivement.
