The original Romanesque church boasts a splendid collection of stained glass windows, which are a delight to discover.

Imposing even if still unfinished, the church of Saint-Ouen stands in the heart of the Pont-Audemérienne town in all its splendour, rediscovered after 4 years of restoration. Now listed as a Monument Historique, it is one of the finest examples of flamboyant Norman architecture. Of the original 11th-century Romanesque church, the square lantern tower and choir still stand. Two Romanesque capitals can be admired near the altar of the Blessed Sacrament. The church also boasts a splendid collection of stained-glass windows, which are a delight to behold.

Très belle étape normande. Les ruelles et les petits canaux sont beaux et propres. Cette ville porte bien son surnom de Venise normande. Les gens sont accueillants. La ville est riche en histoire. J'ai eu la chance de visiter l'église St-Ouen pendant qu'un organiste répétait ! Quelle émotion !

Magnifique et imposante église qui mélange plusieurs architectures et styles. Les vitraux sont sublimes et nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur l’entrainement du joueur d’orgue.

Very nice church built in the 11th century - the blackened exterior walls underwent a 5+ year renovation and now they are the stone color. Beautiful inside.

Een hele mooie kerk zowel van binnen als van buiten. De gebouwen rondom de kerk zijn ook heel mooi. Alsof je terug in de tijd stapt. Ik kom hier graag ieder jaar terug om Pont-Audemer te bewonderen.
