ST QUENTIN'S CHURCH
A vibrant witness of the history of the batger, this church bears the name of the patron saint of the mariners. It consists of a twelfth century nef and a xve bell tower. The Saint-Nicolas chapel of the sixteenth century is dedicated to sailors (and reserved for men!); it includes a model of a tug of the 1950 s. The stunning vault of the wooden nef shows a form of boat hull returned. And Christ in cross… a marine anchor. Many ex-voto and moving graffiti, rich testimony on the daily life of the men of the river, adorn the interior and exterior of this church at the sea foot. A holy place loaded with history to discover!
