At Poses, the pensioners of the Seine Navy share their passion for the profession. Along the Halfway Road and in front of Le Trait Island, the Association des Vieux et Amis de la Batellerie refurbished two museum boats: Fauvette, is a 1928 river tug listed as a historical monument since 1992; it evokes the history of the batger at the time of towing on the Seine. We see the captain's and the mechanic's quarters, the wheelhouse and the engine room. The second, Midway, is a barge where you can visit the housing of the family of the canoier; it hosts a small local museum where the usual objects of the brewery are discovered, two steam machines, old engines, models of boats of Seine, the dam and a lock in operation. An exciting visit!
