WHITE BUSH CASTLE
After a restoration that lasted more than 20 years, the Château du Blanc-Buisson is alive again! Made of sandstone and brick, this fortified house built in 1290 by Philippe le Bel remained almost uninterrupted in the same family for seven centuries. An association has completely restored it by organizing a sound and light show every summer, with volunteers recreating the atmosphere of the time. Today, you can discover the inner courtyard, the park facade, the justice room, the old kitchen, the torture room and the dungeon that were once inaccessible. Many events are on offer throughout the year: medieval festival, sound and light shows, theatrical visits during Heritage Days, murder parties in the dungeon, demonstration of hunting crews, horse shows or parades of old cars.
