L'HERMITAGE
17th-century timber-framed manor house located on the banks of the Seine offering two rooms and a family suite.
Guest rooms that are unanimous, both by the quality of the place, its situation and the reception qualities of Ariane and Alain Cauderlier. The Hermitage is a 19th-century manor house with a monastic past, located on the banks of the River Seine between Giverny and Vernon. Standing on the hill, the building was in ruins when the owners bought it a few years ago. Since then, they have spent their time restoring it, favouring the use of old or traditional materials. The aim: keep the true stamp of the place. Two rooms, one, a family suite of 35 m² named Les Birds with living area, meals, large bathroom and independent entrance, and poetic decoration, is located on the ground floor; The second, smaller, named Les Fleurs, is on the floor (independent access) in an annex of the 20s and offers a pop-up, vintage design. Comfort, breakfast with fruits and jams from the garden, from guests to small care, what more if it is not taking advantage of the garden of 5,000 square meters.
