Tourist office in a historic setting close to the collegiate church in Vernon, an address to fill up on information.
It is one of the three tourist offices of the network of the urban community of Les Portes de l'Eure, with those of Giverny and Pacy-sur-Eure. A stone's throw from the college, Vernon's tourist office is located in one of the oldest houses in the city, dating back to the 18th century, formerly Café de la Ville. This historic monument, located at the foot of the collegiate and baptised in the past, reveals on an angled post an Annunciation carving. The office offers visitors a rich documentation, including hiking tours and offers guided tours around the heritage. The hotel also offers a ticketing service (concerts, shows, leisure, museums) and reservations, trips, excursions. A collection of local crafts (sewing dice, mugs, engravings…), books and postcards, T-shirts, towels and aprons in the colours of Normandy are presented in the premises. Smarter: the office is open on Sundays from May to September.
