OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH

Partly listed as a Historic Monument, for its 11th century portal and 12th century square bell tower, which stands on four monumental pillars forming the choir, Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Church is a beautiful Romanesque and then Gothic achievement. Polychrome frescoes are still visible on some walls. Although not openworked, the finesse of the sculpture of the bay at the chevet of the church, visible from the outside, evokes the care that the local lords wanted to take for this building.
