NOTRE-DAME DE L'ASSOMPTION CHURCH
Church of Flamboyant Gothic style of the 16th and 17th centuries, hosting classical concerts with its rood screen organ of Renaissance style.
A fine example of Flamboyant Gothic architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries. The exterior features a characteristic openwork flying buttress, gargoyles and huge stained-glass windows. The rich furnishings include carved panelling, a 17th-century tombstone and a bust of Henri IV. The church is also one of the few to have preserved its rood screen, a beautiful white stone gallery from which certain readings used to be delivered.
