Nice bistro offering very nice dishes made of products that smell good Italy.
This pretty bistro, with its refined setting, serves up some very fine dishes featuring products with a strong Italian flavour. The idea? To present "true Italian cuisine" to the Norman public, by revisiting the classics and adding a contemporary twist. And we’re not disappointed! The plates are as beautiful as the interior design of the three rooms, each with its own distinct identity, and the tasting experience leaves no room for disappointment. Between the antipasti, pasta, risotto, piatti (meats) and dolci (desserts), it’s hard to make a choice, so appetizing are the titles. For starters, the burratina, made with burrata (a creamy variant of mozzarella, originally from Puglia), cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and drizzled with Ligurian olive oil, will leave you satisfied. But how can you resist linguine with Italian black truffles? And with that, you’ll be tempted by the strawberry mascarpone tarte sablée that caught your eye when you read the menu. All the products used to prepare the dishes are fresh and in season. You won’t leave Villa Léonard feeling light, but you’ll certainly feel full!
