Created by ornithologist Jean Delacour, the Parc de Clères is home to 200 mammals, some of them endangered, who live in peace and semi-freedom in this enchanting 52-hectare setting. More than 1,400 birds keep deer, monkeys, and kangaroos company as they roam around the lake and castle. The latter is a fine example of Flamboyant Gothic architecture built in the 16th century. Ideal for a stroll with the kids, the site offers a variety of activities and fun exhibitions, as well as a beautiful souvenir store.

We hebben er wel 1,5 uur voor moeten rijden vanuit Capfun Dune Fleurie maar het was zeer zeker de moeite waard.
Het is inderdaad wat kleinschalig maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Mooie omgeving zo midden in het dal. Dieren die vrij rond lopen, zoals flamingo en de kleine kangaroe.
Klein minpuntje is alleen dat er veel trappen zijn en dat niet zo heel handig is met een kleine in de buggy. Maar laat het je niet weerhouden om naar het park toe te gaan. Ook hebben ze heerlijke ijsjes voor de kinderen.
