DOMAIN DU GRAND DAUBEUF
Castle built in 1629 on the site of a medieval manor house.
Built in 1629 to plans attributed to François Mansart, Château de Daubeuf is a magnificent example of the Louis XIII style, and has been inhabited ever since. The estate underwent major transformations in the 19th century, with the addition of large stables and an imposing pond. The site was listed as a Monument Historique in 2014 and has been open to visitors since 2017. The gardens can be visited from April to September, and superb period-style guest rooms are available in high season. Events are organized on a regular basis.
