POLLET DISTRICT
Go there and contact
This traditional Dieppe district has been inhabited since the Middle Ages by fishermen known as the "Polletais".
It is the traditional district of Dieppe, inhabited from the Middle Ages by fishermen called the "Polletais". Located on the right bank, at the mouth of the Arques, this place consists of modest houses in flint. Its narrow streets still resonate with the songs of the sailors of yesteryear. Sparked during the fire of the city in 1694, the district was deeply marked by the industrialization of the port and, from 1880, by the excavation of a channel that cut the channel in half. Once a zone scorned by many Dieppois treating it as unhealthy, the Pollet has been creating popular popularity for some years. This enthusiasm is due, in particular, to a successful urban rehabilitation program that has sparked the streets, without affecting the ancestral architectural heritage.

Qui présente l'avantage certain d'être quasi vide de touristes.
Très jolies maisons bien refaites, rues très étroites (impossible de tourner à angle droit hi hi)
Une autre vue du port, avec le soleil en fin de journée.
