Old brasserie offering traditional and generous brasserie cuisine and musical evenings.

A veritable institution in Elbeuf, this brasserie has been located on the Place Lecailler since 1882, still boasting the charm of its old façade, and a classic interior with charming wooden elements. Taken over in 2023 by Mélanie and Marine, the place is still going strong, with a warm atmosphere and Alsatian-inspired cuisine, such as the Alsatian "œuf cocotte" or the "jarret de porc". It's also an ideal place to meet up with friends, with its many musical evenings. Very pleasant terrace in town.

Après plusieurs experiences, je suis quand meme globalement décue. Malgré le cadre et le service accueillant, plusiurs fois j ai ete deçue par la cuisine : des moules trop cuites, un oeuf cocotte munster qui en fait etait un oeuf dur, une cuisson de viande pas desiree... dommage, mais ce sont des choses qui peuvent s ameliorer !

You have been eating here for affordable prices but during our last visit not later that last Saturday, we were disappointed. The homemade terrine reminiscent of a vulgar pâté sold in large distribution and sauce served with fish appeared to be industrial.
