PETOU-CLARENSON FACTORY
The building is rather original by its mix of genres. The original construction in pans wood slabs, which is quite characteristic of Norman architecture, dates back to the th century. It was raised at the beginning of the th to create a grenier, to extend the sheets so that they dry. Around 1840, the end is modified to receive a boiler, a steam machine and a truncated stack. The sheet Petou and then Clarenson employed 368 workers in 1889. It will cease all activity in 1961 and the building will be classified Historic Monument in 1994.
