The building is rather original by its mix of genres. The original construction in pans wood slabs, which is quite characteristic of Norman architecture, dates back to the th century. It was raised at the beginning of the th to create a grenier, to extend the sheets so that they dry. Around 1840, the end is modified to receive a boiler, a steam machine and a truncated stack.
