Louis XIII-style château with Rocaille-style interior, formal gardens, and rose bushes.
This 17th-century château in the Louis XIII style is an elegant brick and slate building. Its interiors are richly decorated in 18th-century rocaille style. Today, it belongs to Prince and Princess Kayali, who reside here and are happy to show you all the beauties of their property. The estate is renowned for its formal gardens and the 2,100 rose bushes that make up Normandy’s largest private collection. In May, the irises bloom, followed by roses, hydrangeas and rhododendrons, in an explosion of colour and fragrance. In 2023, this exceptional site will welcome the "Jardin des Murmures": a quiet space in the garden, where visitors are invited to relax and enjoy the spectacle of nature in bloom. A moment of absolute relaxation and contemplation for the eyes, but also for the ears, which enjoy the gentle melody of the oboe, flute and violin. Mozart, Vivaldi and Massenet are among us! If you’re coming as a family, you’ll also be enchanted by the free treasure hunt designed for children, allowing them to explore the gardens and labyrinth in complete freedom, thanks to a variety of enigmas. On the château tour, you’ll discover the history of 18th-century perfumes through the favourite fragrances of Sissi, Louis XV and Madame de Pompadour, which you can then purchase in the boutique.

Open from May to the end of September. Open Wednesday to Sunday and public holidays, 2pm to 6pm. Guided tours of the château and gardens and rose gardens: Friday to Sunday and public holidays. Free for children under 7. Adults: €8 (gardens and rose gardens only). Children (aged 7 to 15): €5. Guided tour: €9.50 adult, €7 child. 2 treasure hunts are available: €9.50 per adult and €6 per child (free for children under 6). Children welcome. Guided tour. Gift store.

Impraticable dans les jardins. Nous avons fait visite du château .
Le guide pour la visite du château nickel . A même proposer une chaise a la personne en fauteuil.
Bien expliqué
L'heure de la visite du château n'est pas respectée ( 30 minutes de retard)
Le jardin est super ,la roseraie est jolie beaucoup d'espèces et quel parfum ..... Petit jeu pour les enfants dans le labyrinthe : il fallait retrouver des petites maisons compter les dragons et les chevalieret répondre aux énigmes .... simple mais faut y penser ????
Il y a des oiseaux malheureusement les poules d'ornement se sont fait attaquer par une fuite donc pas mal de perte mais ce n'est pas grave le domaine est assez grand pour en avoir plein les yeux
