A precious architectural jewel from the second half of the 19th century, the Aygues Castle is classified as a historical monument. It is the icon of the rise of Étretat during the Second Empire. The house was the former summer residence of Prince Lubomirski, Grand Chamberlain of Tsar Nicholas I, where the Spanish queens Maria Christina of Bourbon-Sicily and Isabella II came. In the living room, you can admire precious furniture, portraits, and a magnificent collection of Chinese porcelain. On the park side, this one was developed by the creators of the Buttes Chaumont park in Paris. Enough to plunge into the great era of Étretat.
