Fécamp has been a seafaring town for centuries with its herring and cod fisheries. It has also created some of the most beautiful French sailing ships, including the terre-neuvas. For five days, Fécamp will be the scene of a new gathering of the most beautiful traditional sailing ships from all over Europe. On the program: parades, sea trips, boat building demonstrations, exhibitions, conferences, awarding of the Captain Hayet trophy for the most beautiful sea songs. On the gastronomic side, the local producers present will offer tastings of cod and herring.
