CHOCOLATE DISCOVERY MUSEUM
A small museum of chocolate, proposing a discovery of all the stages of the cultivation of cocoa beans, and with tasting.
Located about 3 km from downtown Fécamp, this chocolate museum allows you to discover all the steps that separate the cultivation of cocoa beans from the time of tasting, but also the manufacturing processes of ganaches, pralines and other chocolate delicacies. Recently renovated, it now offers videos and interactive workshops that will appeal particularly to children. From the exhibition room, we can see the laboratory in which the chocolates are made. This small gourmet museum also presents a beautiful collection of boxes, moulds and chocolate makers from another era. The visit begins with the tasting of the famous Hautot chocolates and ends with a visit to the shop: the tasting bites are a delight that can be extended at a gentle price. A second shop also awaits you in the city centre, not far from the abbey church.
