The original castle was built in the 15th century by the Marquis of Filières, on the ruins of an old medieval fort destroyed during the Hundred Years War. Rebuilt after this episode, the current building combines two different styles from different periods, Henri IV and Louis XVI. Its Chinese salon is particularly refined. Throughout the year, an exhibition presents fashion models from the 1950s and 1960s made by the marquise Marie-Louise de Persan. There is nothing left of Le Nôtre's gardens, but the park is full of beautiful trees... To discover!
