MEDIATHEQUE DE GONFREVILLE

Inaugurated in 2000, the Médiathèque library is a very comprehensive cultural area on two floors, with no fewer than 10,000 members. The library houses around 30

000 books and documents, with sections for documentaries, fiction, and a Czech space. Storytelling readings and lectures take place there. The multimedia area provides Internet access and the opportunity to explore the Net. In the music section, 7,000 works are listed in different genres. A démothèque was created to allow local groups and musicians to make their music available to the public and thus become known. About 3,000 toys and games are available for children on 180 m². Parent-child, "privileged moments", are organised on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
