Museum in Forges-les-Eaux, retracing the period of the Second World War, through authentic objects and documents.

Located in the city centre, this museum retraces the period of the Second World War through numerous objects and documents. Weapons and period clothing, galley posts, sabotage equipment, posters, leaflets and maps, as well as the personal objects of the deportees, most of which come from private collections, are on display. The museum also has a projection room where period films are shown.

Visite incroyable, qui tient tant à la qualité des pièces, riches, variées et très bien mises en valeur qu'à l accueil extraordinaire de la conservatrice, passionnée, qui fait vivre les collections avec profondeur et émotions. Merci de ce moment de partage !

Malgré la triste réalité
que certains de nos ancêtres ou amis ont vécu, le Musée est très intéressant....les explications sont claires. J ai aimé la présentation des personnes qui ont vécu ces horreurs. J avais une amie qui a fait de la résistance avec son mari puis à été déportée dans tous ces camps de l horreur. IL FAUT EN PARLER À NOS ENFANTS, IL NE FAUT JAMAIS OUBLIER
