Temple of Italian gastronomy near the Place des Halles

A few steps from the Place des Halles, the Sauro restaurant is another temple of Italian gastronomy. At the entrance, you are already enticed by looking at the menu and all the dishes you can choose from. Buona tavola, good Italian cuisine, is guaranteed here. The charcuterie, the antipasti, the pizza, the gratin, the menu is impressive and lives up to its promises. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and space is not lacking. Moreover, the service continues relatively late, which is an advantage in the neighbourhood. A true essence of Italy!

Une escalope Saltimbocca à 18€ avec seulement du fromage fondu dessus et quelques frites, sans basilic, sans parmesan sans échalotes, bref de loin la recette originale. Pizza copieuse mais loin des vraies bonnes pizzas italiennes (produits en boites et surgelés). Les pâtes sont simplement insipides. note salée. Seul le service sauve un peu la note. Ca ne mérite pas plus. On ne reviendra pas. Christophe.

Nous avons été très déçus par les tagliatelles au gorgonzonla, pas assez salées et gorgonzola au gout de vieux fromage...pizza aux aubergines qualité moyenne. Trop cher 12 € l'assiette de pâtes immangeable...Nous n'y retournerons pas malgré la gentillesse de la serveuse.
