LA SHTSF
TSF, outdated you say? Not in Le Havre, which boasts France's oldest amateur radio club. The Société havraise de Télégraphie Sans Fil was founded in 1921. Since then, it has been recognised as an association of public utility, and some of its members - still numerous - are members of Adrasec 76 and could be requisitioned in the event of a natural disaster or triggering of the Orsec plan. So it's all very serious. But the fact remains that amateur radio operators spend a lot of quality time listening to their compatriots from all over the world, and take advantage of the opportunity to distil some good news from green Normandy.
