This 20-station promenade covers the whole of downtown Le Havre.
This twenty-stage walk covers the whole of downtown Le Havre. Twenty benches have been set up along the waterfront, in the center rebuilt by Perret, in the Saint-François district, along the docks and all the way to the university, recalling twenty famous writers who were inspired by the Cité Océane. Flaubert, Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Stendhal, Céline and Balzac can all be found close to the place they described in their literary works. Each bench features a text and a QR code for a fuller explanation.
