The port of Le Tréport is a great place to admire the carved stones of the Saint-Jacques church.

If you make a stop at Le Tréport, there is one site you must not miss under any circumstances, it’s of course the port of the city! Don’t hesitate to climb the ramp of the Musoir and then walk along the Hôtel de Calais to reach the church porch, breathe in the sea air and enjoy the view of the port and the sea. You can then continue your escapade to admire the sculpted stones of the Église Saint-Jacques. Collapsed during the storm of 1360, this monument was rebuilt during the 16th century.

Une promenade bien agréable à faire, le long du port. On peut même passer du tréport à Mers et longer la plage ensuite. Le port possède une écluse et nous avons eu la chance de la voir fonctionner.

La ville et le port en eux mêmes sont assez industrialisés et pas très beau mais la plage et les falaises du Tréport valent le coup d oeuil. Une bonne promenade à faire. Pas mal de restaurants sur place.

Effectivement la plus belle vue du port sera celle que vous aurez depuis le promontoire situé juste à coté de l'église dominant la ville (accès par une rue pavée en rampe). On pourra y voir la partie port de pêche, la partie bateaux de plaisance et le goulet d'entrée de ce port. De plus haut aussi accès par le funiculaire gratuit depuis les terrasses.

Avec ses trois jetées , son avant port et ses deux bassins à flot ce port est surtout intéressant par son activité lié aux marées et son animation touristique. Belle promenade agréable.
