A cross steeped in history, a symbol of resilience in the face of the plague epidemic.
This beautiful cross dominates the street at its 3.60 m height. It was erected in 1618 and served as an ex-voto during the plague epidemic. In 1843, Louis-Philippe, who initiated the restoration, decided to make it an emblem of the House of France: it’s adorned with the Royal L and the Fleur de Lis.

Au milieu de la rue cette imposante croix en grès avec son socle daté est une curiosité du quartier . Elle se découvre durant la visite de ce charmant petit port.
