ROMAN THEATRE
This amphitheatre is the most important Gallo-Roman site north of the Loire to have been archaeologically excavated.
This amphitheatre, dating from the 1st century AD, is the most important Gallo-Roman remains north of the Loire. It is still the subject of archaeological excavations. For the record, it is now certain that many remains lie beneath the road between the amphitheatre and the Juliobona museum. Today, the Roman theater is one of Lillebonne's most important cultural venues, hosting regular exhibitions and themed workshops to explore the local archaeological history. Family fun!
