Simple but effective brasserie with good prices and quality food.
Located in the heart of the city centre, opposite the church, the Chapeau Rouge is a simple brasserie, but with an effective recipe, since the restaurant is always full. Correct prices, quality cuisine, it didn't take much more than that for the establishment to be successful. This is a good address for lunch in Neufchâtel, during a lunch break, between two appointments or before getting back on the road. The culinary experience may not revolutionize your life, but the dishes are usually hearty, the staff is friendly and, most importantly, the service is fast. As an added bonus, the establishment has the advantage of being open on Mondays and offers a good selection of draught beers.

Nous n'avons pas eu de chance dans ce restaurant. Dehors, il y avait une pancarte indiquant qu'un Plat de Jour était à vendre. Cependant, lorsque nous avons demandé, on nous a répondu que la cuisine était fermée. Mais un Croque-Monsieur (6 €) était très bien. Après avoir attendu une demi-heure, nous avons reçu ce que nous avions commandé. 1 sandwich était toujours bon, mais le numéro 2 n'était pas comestible. Regarder la photo. Bref, le service était mauvais (une dame grincheuse) et la nourriture n'était pas bonne. Évitez cet endroit.
