Traditional West Indian cuisine accompanied by an arranged rum to be consumed with moderation in Rouen.
Probably the only restaurant in Rouen to serve traditional West Indian cuisine, Le Bakoua distils its good humour in the pedestrian street of the Vieux-Palais. The cuisine offers a wide range of Creole dishes: scallops with mango, accras, lamb colombo, smoked sausage rougail, chatrou, fish in Creole sauce and grilled prawns in dog sauce, all delicately spiced up with a whole range of spices that only West Indian cooks have the secret to. Their arranged rum is a real delight... But to be consumed with moderation!
