In a small pedestrian street in the town centre, this restaurant welcomes you in a medieval atmosphere brought up to date. Through the heavy wooden door, you’ll discover an authentic old stone tavern where you can sit down to simple, tasty dishes such as Norman burger, Valais raclette, tavern sauerkraut or Welsh-frites, the Welsh specialty made with toast, melted cheddar, fried egg and beer. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm well into the evening, with occasional live music. A good address.

Endroit chaleureux et sympathique qui accueille aussi bien les grandes tablées que les têtes à têtes.Les poutres et vitraux ont un charme fou,et la présence du piano que l’on peut utiliser pour faire chanter ceux qui le souhaitent est parfaite! Patrons souriants et sympathiques et cuisine familiale de bonne tenue.. Jy retournerai !

Quelle excellente soirée passée à la Taverne St Amant ! Je recommande le Welsh, un régal pour ceux qui se fichent de leur ligne ! :-) Et le pain d'épice facon pain perdu, avec son caramel au beurre salé et sa petite boule de glace vanille... hum... un pur moment de bonheur !!! L'accueil est sympa et le cadre chaleureux et atypique. Vraiment un endroit à découvrir !

Well located in the center of Rouen, just a stone's throw from the cathedral, the Tavern saint Lover aptly named, in this typical building Norman. The cuisine is family and good, especially The Norman escalope. The staff is welcoming and warm despite our late arrival dinner! a good address if you go to Rouen
