Located on the Place du Vieux-Marché, this annex of the famous restaurant Gill surfs the wave of bistronomy and plays on the renewal of the traditional bistro thanks to the talent of the chefs who revisit the great classics. This restaurant offers a real culinary experience born from the alliance between Philippe Coudy (Paul brasserie) and Gilles Tournardre (starred chef of the Gill), who offer a short and well-thought-out menu in a contemporary and warm setting. On the menu, dishes that may seem simple at first glance but which are updated and whose flavour delights the taste buds, such as Rouen duck terrine, calf’s head or even Vallée d’Auge chicken. Suggestion du jour autant sur le plat que le dessert, risotto st jacques et sauce chorizo.... juste parfait. Soufflé au chocolat très bon, glace maison délicieuse. Serveuse souriante et attentionnée.
Ambiance très sympa, salle peut être un peu petite pour la circulation. J'ai adoré !

Nous sommes arrivés à Rouen après deux heures de route depuis Paris et nous n'avions pas choisi de lieu pour le déjeuner. Nos recherches rapides sur Google nous ont recommandé le Gill Côté Bistro - un bon bistro français pittoresque. C'est une excellente recommandation, car nous avons eu un déjeuner très agréable - une excellente nourriture (poisson) et un excellent service qui nous ont permis de nous détendre.

Un restaurant charmant, à thème américain, mais avec un menu plus varié de déjeuner français et de dîner américain. Un repas bon marché avec un service sympathique.

Il faut absolument commander le plat du jour et être plus audacieux.

Très bon accueil, une cuisine gourmande et précise. Une mention spéciale pour la pomme confite au dessert (pink lady mouillé au cidre et passée au four nappé d’un caramel blond. Bravo au chef!
