Restaurant offering a slate menu, a cuisine based on seasonal products in Rouen.
In a warm wooden decoration reminiscent of a forest chalet, Sonia and Julien offer a slate menu with several starters, main courses and desserts. The cuisine features seasonal products, prepared in a traditional way. The toasts are dressed with warm goat cheese and flavoured with thyme and honey. The brick of Andouille is covered with a layer of Bishop’s Bridge, a typical Norman cheese. As for desserts, the trilogy of red fruits still reminds us of summer and rivals the classic chocolate delicacies in taste. The menu changes every two weeks or so, but the dishes are always generous - that is, copious. Sonia’s friendly atmosphere and warm welcome in the dining room make Pommes d’Épices a good address to find when going up from the Musée des Beaux-Arts to the boulevards for those who want to leave the heart of Rouen and eat well at a very fair price. It is better to book for lunch, as a regular clientele has chosen to stay there assiduously.
