Brasserie offering traditional homemade cuisine, in the heart of Rouen.

AL’1 and its team welcome you in a friendly atmosphere, in the heart of Rouen, right next to the cathedral. This brasserie is specialised in traditional home-made cooking. You will find on the menu the famous pot-au-feu, the calf’s head with gribiche sauce or the steak tartare. But it is especially for its salads that the establishment is famous. From the classic Baltic salad with herring fillets to the original Lyonnaise salad with hot sausage, there is something for everyone! Very friendly staff, we recommend it!

Ambiance très désagréable, salades très moyenne par rapport à la grande époque de cette brasserie et un patron très désagréable avec les clients ainsi que son personnel...... Il doit sentir que le bateau coule...... Je vous conseille la brasserie juste à côté.... Chez Paul....... A bon entendeur..... Salut

Très bon restaurant. Salades composées très copieuses, tête de veau excellente. Très bon accueil. Quand il fait beau, terrasse agréable au pied de la cathédrale.

Bruyant et rapport qualité/prix décevant.
Les tables sont tellement serrées.
En été, il est possible de manger dehors, mais en novembre …
