Gustave Flaubert has carved out a special place for himself in the literary landscape. This event is an opportunity to rediscover him.
To celebrate the bicentenary of the writer’s birth in Rouen, the Normandy region pays tribute to him. In total, more than 200 dates are proposed from April to November in the region. Between exhibitions and conferences, discover the wealth of Gustave Flaubert’s work. A Norman author, his international fame gives him a special place in the literary landscape. The actress Isabelle Huppert, who played Madame Bovary in Claude Chabrol’s film, is the honorary president of the event.
