Sunbeds and umbrellas planted in the sand and overlooking the water are set up on the quays every summer to soak up the sun.
After Paris-Plage, welcome to Rouen-sur-Mer! The idea has in fact travelled along a whole stretch of the Seine to the delight of the people of Rouen who cannot go on holiday in July and who meet there with or without children. Deckchairs and umbrellas planted in the fine sand with a view of the water have been installed to enjoy the sun, as well as kite workshops, origami, rugby field and floating boats, or even bowling... This beach is really welcome, especially when the sun is at its zenith!
