Every Thursday in July, Rouen's city centre takes on a festive air at the end of the day. A host of bands and musicians take to the squares and streets of the city to celebrate the Terrasses du Jeudi. The terraces of bars, cafés and restaurants fill up in a friendly atmosphere. There is something for everyone: rock, pop, country, jazz, rap, French and international variety... The groups play and sing under the summer sun in front of the people of Rouen who are sitting on the terraces.
