MÉDECINS DU MONDE

Here, Médecins du Monde supports numerous actions on the ground. First to help people with AIDS by offering the services of a social worker and medical consultations. Volunteers also care about information and listening to drug users, as well as prevention for all. But the mission's Romanian antenna missions extend far beyond HIV. It also welcomes people in a situation of great insecurity, without access to the most basic care. To do so, Physicians du Monde collaborates with social services to ensure the best coverage possible. The mission of Rouen Médecins du monde is therefore also concerned with prevention, screening, medical care, contraception and pregnancy monitoring, social and legal care. It also provides care for all during the marauds made on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 p. m. to 11:00 p. m. Volunteers then distribute hygiene kits, sleeping bags, etc.
