GRANDE PHARMACIE DU CENTRE
Sick or not, take the time to go to the Center's Grande Pharmacy, facing Notre Dame Cathedral, to admire its facade. Created by Raymond Subes, a famous French ferronner of the Art Deco period, the façade of the building is a work of art on its own. It recalls some Parisian railhouses, such as those of some major hotels and restaurants including Fouquet's, George V or Lutetia. The latter have also been shaped by Raymond Subes! In addition to the façade, the Center's Grande Pharmacy has another secret: Claude Monet's workshop was just above, upstairs! From there, the Impressionist painter enjoyed every hour of the day from an unparalleled point of view on Rouen Cathedral, the muse of its «Cathedrals Series». Today, this pharmacy has a very wide range of medicines, medical accessories, cosmetics and herbalists. His little one: prices here are often more advantageous than those of pharmacies around.
