DIRECTION REGIONALE DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT, DE L'AMENAGEMENT ET DU LOGEMENT - DREAL

The DREAL include regional environmental directorates (DIRECTORATES), regional equipment directorates (DRE) and regional directorates of industry, research and the environment (DRIRE). They thus become the single pilot, at the regional level, of sustainable development policies, resulting in particular from the commitments of environmental Grenelle and constitute one of the first major stages in the territorial reform of the State, of which they are particularly exemplary. The DREAL deals with the conservation of natural environments and the water resource, the prevention of technological risks, the control of energy, land management, housing, travel and safety of road transport.
