STONE-HORN SCHOOL
Lycée Pierre-Corneille is just a stone's throw from the town hall, behind heavy wooden doors
Located a stone’s throw from the town hall, behind heavy wooden doors, the Lycée Pierre-Corneille has seen generations of students and teachers pass through its doors. Some are obviously more famous than others, such as Pierre and Thomas Corneille, the explorer Cavelier de La Salle, Claude Chappe, Guy de Maupassant and André Maurois among the students. Alain and Simone de Beauvoir are among the best-known teachers. A visit can be made every year in September, during the European Heritage Days.
