GUSTAV-FLAUBERT BRIDGE
A remarkable bridge, the longest of its kind and the highest on the Old Continent, it links one side of Rouen to the other.
Inaugurated in 2008, this bridge is the last and 6th bridge built on the Seine and allowing to connect one bank of Rouen to the other. Its 670m length makes it the longest bridge of its kind in the world, and its 86m height makes it one of the highest on the Old Continent. Here you are facing the architectural and urban work of Aymeric Zublena, architect of the Stade de France, and Michel Virlogeux, designer of the Normandy Bridge and the Millau Viaduct. It is possible to see it rising from time to time, especially during the Armada.
