A remarkable museum in Rouen, an important site for natural science, with exhibits from all over the world.

In 1934, the Museum, originally intended to illustrate municipal zoology, botany and pharmacy courses, opened its doors to the public. Since then, it has become an important site for 19th-century natural science, with a collection that today includes 800,000 items from the four corners of the globe. The latest addition, the Americas section, was opened in 2017. Midi-musées, Musée des Tout-Petits, Scientikid, guided tours - there’s something for everyone to discover in this great cabinet of curiosities.

Musée agréable. Accès gratuit pour tout le monde sur deux expositions (le muséum d'histoire naturelle et l'exposition sur l'antiquité). Le personnel est agréable.

Nous aimons visiter ce lieu vieillot d'un autre temps avec ses animaux empaillés, ses bocaux étranges et ses vieux fossiles. J'y cherche à chaque fois Adèle Blansec ...
Cependant les lieux auraient besoin d'une bonne restauration. Le vintage, c'est tendance, mais l'extérieur commence à faire pitié et aurait besoin d'un bon coup de neuf
