GRAMMONT PARK
Stretching over 25,000 m², the Grammont Park is the second green lung of the city after the Jardin des Plantes. Its pretty ponds and wide green spaces attract more than a thousand people coming from all over the conurbation during the weekend. This park was designed by the renowned landscape architect Jacqueline Osty. It offers visitors wide fairways, conducive to rides and playgrounds and rollers skating trail. We particularly like wandering in spring to observe the first buds whereas in autumn, we will admire the beautiful colours of the nature. The park was completed by a cultural centre - designed by the French architect Rudy Ricciotti - which houses the Simone de Beauvoir library, an auditorium, an exhibition hall and a part of the departmental archives.
