CÔTE SAINTE-CATHERINE
A strategic point in Rouen, offering an unobstructed view of the entire city, a panorama immortalised by Claude Monet in one of his paintings
From Rue Henri-Rivière (Mont-Gargan cemetery), it takes between half an hour and three quarters of an hour to climb to the top of Côte Sainte-Catherine. This is a strategic point in the city, as from its summit you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole of Rouen. This panorama was immortalised by Claude Monet, whose painting General view of Rouen from Côte Sainte-Catherine can be admired at the Musée des Beaux-Arts. With the arrival of fine weather, Rouen’s residents flock here in droves!
