An ashram in Normandy! This Hindu temple, the only state-recognised religious congregation of the Gaudiya Vaishnava order in France, is inhabited by a dozen Hindu monks, most of them Westerners. They have built a colourful temple, filled with images and statues of Radha and Krishna, the deities they worship during prayers and services. The monks have, in fact, opened a school of yoga, accessible to all. The curious can come and visit it, to escape and discover another culture.
