THE GARDEN OF THE CLOSERIE
Garden made up of several gardens and jardinets in Saint-Pierre-de-Manneville, offering a sample of little-known species.
Organized around a 16th century manor house enlarged in the 18th century, the English garden of La Closerie is composed of several gardens and small gardens that offer a sample of little known ancient species and vegetation seemingly not domesticated. All of this gives visitors a deceptively natural feel, which is particularly pleasing when the sun is out. This setting has been used as a backdrop for film productions, such as Michel Deville's L'Ours et la Poupée in 1969, starring Brigitte Bardot among others.
